men can take upskirt pictures of women and girls because women in public spaces have no legal expectation of privacy
women are treated as property that can be bought and sold and stolen as opposed to people
girls as young as kindergarten are called “sluts” for wearing a short skirt and forced to change clothes because boys and men might be distracted
men and boys literally can not seem to empathize with women (because i swear to god if melinda was a male character and everything else was the same the boys would not be asking that question)
men view women as literal objects
men build their own superiority into achievement tests that (in america) determine your future prospects
men believe that fat women don’t deserve to be loved simply because they are fat
women are villified for normal miscarriages and for aborting fetuses that were the result of rape (not to mention intentionally asserting bodily autonomy simply because you don’t want a fetus)
women can be raped on screen but can not masturbate on screen (even though men have masturbated on screen all the fucking time)
not wearing make up is one of the ways that psychologists determine if a woman is mentally healthy
Men have flat out stated that even if there is concrete evidence that a rape happened they would vote not guilty if on a jury.
Women need about 6 more years of education than men on average to make a comparable amount of money
Male Police officers have arrested women for resisting their advances with no initial punishment (until activists spoke up)
and this is just what i can think of recently. There is so so so so so much more
my kind of feminism

I WANT A DECOY.
This is offensive, and I’m 100% apart of the rainbow that is LGBT community. Regular men have as much right as the others do apart of the LGBT, you don’t have to be gay, lesbian, etc, any of that. This just,
ugh. Pisses me off.
This comic is about feminism, not LGBT activism.
Lewis’s law is an observation she made in 2012 that states “the comments on any article about feminism justify feminism.” Lewis has written frequently about misogynist hate directed at women online.
Can we just repeat that a few more times,
“The comments on any article about feminism justify feminism.”
“The comments on any article about feminism justify feminism.”
bolded is important

Get Your Anti-Femininity Out Of My Feminism by s.e. smith (via onesweetdelightlater)
why can’t feminism be spread like vampirism and zombies and shit like you bite someone and they stop being a misogynistic fucktrumpet
I made a thing…
I’m a guy, and I need feminism. Not “men’s rights.” Feminism. Here is why.
Everything that MRAs talk about that men can’t do or are socially punished for arise directly and immediately from misogyny. Not “misandry.” Misogyny.
Whether I am expressing my emotions, playing with children, baking, having sex wherein I am penetrated in any way, wearing the wrong color, talking the wrong way, moving the wrong way, being sexually harassed/assaulted, or paying too little attention to looking like I’m not paying attention to how I look, when society punishes me or derides me or marginalizes me for these things, it is happening because they are things women, not men, are expected to do, and our society at large fucking hates women.
Has that sunk in yet?
Men, can you even think of a single goddamn way you have ever been mocked that wasn’t related to something that a misogynist society sees as feminizing? Even when large men are mocked for their bodies, they are referred to as having “man-boobs,” for fucks sake.
How do you expect to improve those things with “men’s rights?” What right are you fighting for? I can tell you what I think you’re fighting for. I think you’re fighting for the right to contain and control misogyny, and direct it back at women, where you think it belongs. You want to maintain your privilege but erase its consequences, and that’s why your movement is farcical; it’s a big fucking feedback loop. How do you expect men to be free from the peripheral effects of misogyny when you refuse to even fucking believe it’s real?
Everything Men’s Rights Activists label as “female privilege” is really patriarchy backfiring against men.
The gender-specific rule that men shouldn’t hit women is caused by the misogynistic belief that women are fragile.
The belief that men can’t be raped is caused by the belief that men always want sex and the belief that men must always be strong, which are the same gender norms that enable men to sexually harass women.
The belief that all men are rapists is caused by the misogynistic belief that a woman who is quick to trust a man is asking for it.
The belief that statutory rape is worse with an older man and a younger woman than with an older woman and a younger man is caused by the misogynistic belief that society must protect female virginity.
Custody favoring the mother is caused by the misogynistic belief that taking care of the kids is a woman’s job.
The fact that only men can be drafted is caused by the misogynistic belief that women are too weak for combat. Also, most feminists are against the draft.
The belief that the man must pay for the date is caused by the misogynistic belief that women are helpless and need men to do everything for them, and it’s often used as a way to guilt-trip her into having sex.
Feminists don’t support any of those. All of those are caused by patriarchy. Men’s Rights Activists can stop blaming feminists for the problems that patriarchy causes.
